Design details

Around the neck is a ruffle collar in eyelet fabric with soft pleats and a punched edge, as shown in the upper circle. The bodice and sleeves are a soft knit with small, close stitches, and the long sleeves end in tiny eyelet frills. A slim eyelet band at the waist joins a gathered skirt of embroidered broderie anglaise with cut-out flowers, finished with a scalloped open hem. On the side of the waist sits a large bow in the same eyelet fabric with long tails falling over the skirt, shown in the lower circle. The eyelet headband has a front knot and an elastic back.
